Message from the Director

I am excited to share information about the Franciscan Centre, and thank you for your interest!  The Franciscan Centre is an adult day program that has been serving caregivers and their loved ones since 1985, in a loving, homelike atmosphere.  Our reputation is well respected in the community for providing stimulating activities in a safe environment, while providing the caregiver with respite from full-time responsibilities.  We serve adults who have Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia, physical problems, chronic mental illness, or behavioral problems such as wandering.

The Franciscan Centre specializes in caring for older adults who benefit from cognitive engagement, structured activities, social opportunities, medication monitoring and nutritious meals in a secure environment.  We recognize the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of our participants.  Our caring staff includes a Director, LPN, Activity Coordinator and personal care assistants.
