Nutritional Services

New Cassel is one of the larger assisted living facilities in the Omaha area, and in the State of Nebraska.  So, meeting the dietary needs/requests of every resident is no easy task.  

The dietary staff makes it look effortless.  They prepare three meals each day, each offering three entrees to choose from.  The meals are served restaurant style.  The Bistro selection is provided for those residents who prefer a lighter option for the noon meal.  The Bistro provides a choice of soup, salad, and sandwich. 

Hours of Service:

Breakfast:	7 am - 8:30 am
Dinner:	11 am - 12:30 pm
Supper:	4:30 pm - 6 pm

If the resident would like to have a relative or friend, who is not a resident, dine with them, a meal ticket can be purchased at the receptionist desk:

Meal Ticket Pricing:

Breakfast:	$5.00 per person (65 and over $4.50)
Dinner:	$7.50 per person  (65 and over $6.50)
Supper:	$6.50 per person  (65 and over $5.50)
Sunday Noon, Holidays and Special Days:	$8.50 per person (65 and over $7.50)

Monthly visits from a Registered Dietician provide a review of menus, and assistance from residents with special dietary needs.
